Barbara Rahal is a Vancouver-based visual artist
whose global travels have provided the inspiration for her library of photographic images – from local to around the world.
She has transformed these images into original and sometimes abstract works of art for private colections.

Travel is Barbara’s passion. Whether sailing on the highest waters of Titicaca Lake, crossing the Panama Canal, walking the streets of San Francisco, cycling Haleakala at dawn in Hawaii, climbing to the summit of many Andean tops, or exploring the ancient ruins of Machu Pichu, Barbara recharges her inner ‘batteries’ while photographing scenes and inspirations that she transforms into art pieces back in her Vancouver home.

She reworks her own digital photographic images to create unique pieces and abstract compositions that are later presented into different media.
